Ok, so I've been fairly busy lately. So close to moving..... So Close! Alright, so here are some sketches I've done lately.

What I'm up to...

So I've been busy with work, freelance, getting everything squared away for my move to New Brunswick, and every little thing that needs to be done. I've been able to squeeze a little bit of time to do some more gouache painting, here's a bit, but more to come.







also, I need to finally make a finished animated short, that's for me, and for fun. Not for anything but that, on the side. I've been struggling for a while trying to come up with an idea for something to do that can look great, and be a ton of fun to make. I kind of stumbled on a silly idea, starring Rumpelstiltskin. Here is a sketch for your viewing pleasure.



Also, if you know me, I almost NEVER do fanart, but I did this for a friend. I did it quite quickly, but here it is anyways





Oh, AND I recieved my PASSPORT Today!!!!! Hooray for me!

So I've been back into a painting thing. Just been painting away. Sorry for the kinda crappy quality, I just snapped 'em with my camera cause they're too big for my scanner. Oh well.

In A Better place...

Well, recently my uncles dog of 12 years, a miniature doberman pinscher, who was always happy, energetic, and funloving, jumping around, suddenly was dragging himself around on his hind legs, in pain. Guessing he must have gotten out and had been hit or something to that effect, my uncle tried to do what he could, but he wasn't getting any better, and unfortunately surgery was way too expensive, so he was put to sleep the other day. My uncle had a really hard time, having to hold him so he'd be calm enough for them to give him his shot, so he died in his arms. Very emotional times. I did this in honor of him, a good dog, and family member, who's in a better place now.

Been away...

mostly just been busy as all getout lately, you know how it is. But here's a bunch of gouache stuff I've been working on for practice, my portfolio, and some commission stuff

DAFT PUNK!

I was participating in an "Art Battle" again over at Satellite Soda. the challenge was to make a Gig poster, and I just had to do Daft Punk, my favoritest ever!!! so, here it is.



I'm also gonna have either this just in my sketchbook/minicomic at the cons, or maybe even a screen printing of it??????

EXCLUSIVE FIRST!!!

Well, i'm pretty jazzed, cause my Aqua Leung Collab Pin Up won the contest over at Satellite Soda, so that means it's gonna get printed alongside pin ups by Scott Morse, Jim Mahfood, Mike Huddleston, and Joe Suitor. WOOHOO!

This is also the first time ever that I'm working on a sketchbook/minicomic to have with me at conventions and such, so working vigerously on that. You get to see it first, Here is the sketch that'll be on the cover: I'm call ing the book "Sugar Pops and Lemon Drops"



Also, I started working on a little comic for the "24 hour comic day" that was upon us this past thursday. Here is the first page of the comic, thumbnailed in 5.5"x8.5" sketchbook.
